Timemark Camera stamps your photos with time, GPS location and work details. We built it so your photos stay on your device. We do not run servers, require an account, show ads, or use analytics or tracking.
What stays on your device
- Photos you take are saved in the app's private storage and, when you choose, in your device photo library. We never upload them.
- Work details (project, company, notes, tags, company logo) and settings are stored only on your device.
What leaves your device, and why
- Location → address. To print a street address, your coordinates are converted by your device's built-in geocoding service (Apple on iPhone, Google on Android).
- Mini-map (optional). If you turn on "Mini-map on photo", your coordinates are sent to the Google Maps Static API to draw the map thumbnail.
- Location fallback. When GPS is weak, the app may ask the Google Geolocation API for an approximate position; Google receives your IP address for that request.
- Verified time (optional). The app asks Google's public time server (time.google.com) for the current time. No personal data is sent.
These requests go directly from your device to Apple or Google and are governed by their privacy policies (Apple, Google). We do not receive or store this data.
Permissions
- Camera — to take photos.
- Location (while using the app) — to stamp coordinates and address.
- Photo library (add only) — to save photos you export.
You can change these at any time in your device Settings; the app keeps working with fewer details on the stamp.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and collects no personal information from them.
Changes
If we add features that change this (for example ads or paid plans), we will update this page and the date above before releasing them.

Dữ liệu chỉ nằm trên máy bạn

- Thông tin công việc (dự án, công ty, ghi chú, thẻ, logo) và cài đặt chỉ lưu trên máy.
Dữ liệu được gửi đi và lý do
- Vị trí → địa chỉ: toạ độ được dịch vụ định vị địa chỉ có sẵn của máy (Apple trên iPhone, Google trên Android) chuyển thành địa chỉ.
- Bản đồ nhỏ (tuỳ chọn): khi bật, toạ độ được gửi tới Google Maps Static API để vẽ bản đồ.
- Định vị dự phòng: khi GPS yếu, ứng dụng có thể hỏi Google Geolocation API vị trí gần đúng; Google nhận địa chỉ IP của yêu cầu đó.
- Thời gian xác thực (tuỳ chọn): ứng dụng hỏi giờ từ máy chủ thời gian công khai của Google (time.google.com), không gửi dữ liệu cá nhân.
Các yêu cầu này đi thẳng từ máy bạn tới Apple hoặc Google và tuân theo chính sách của họ. Chúng tôi không nhận hay lưu dữ liệu này.
